I wrote the bass line and played tenor sax. I asked Steve, if he would fill in when I'm not playing.
He complied and did a wonderful job! Good set of ears!

Good overall, nice sounds coming out... but Mike, are they too nice for the other improv that's going on? Seems like everything you're playing in here is tonal - I'm not getting as free a vibe as with the other instruments. Not sure if that's what you wanted; maybe that's why the title is what it is, but there it is...

Yes they are nice...lol
Actually the only area where I alter that is the jazz part, or the walking bass lines. Those lines are played chromatacially and I play chromatically, as well as using diminished phrases in that part.
I did everything first and sent it to Steve. How he chose to play was entirely up to him.
