This is the first movement of my first piano trio, in yet again, another minor key D minor.  There are some good parts in it, however, there are also some bad parts.  Tell me what you think.

I think I know what you mean by 'bad' parts? I didn't like the exposed "1-and -and -and -and" rhythms at about 26 seconds... I guess to me they make the piece sound like an exercise in syncopation, especially because they're arpeggiated... but you do go on to create some nice textures... overall I think you're using too basic a rhythm for a motive, a rhythm that should be used instead to make the piece harmonically and texturally more complex.

All I would do is rethink the over-exposed parts, and the piece should sound 10 times better.

Thats, exactly what I thought, however, I couldn't figure out what to do, so I just posted like it is.
